Terms & Conditions

  1. Where only a deposit has been paid, the full balance of the order value must be paid within two weeks of notification of the arrival of the goods from the designer, or at a date agreed between the parties. MONIES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER ORDERS. ONCE GOODS ARE ORDERED YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO SIMPLY CHANGE YOU MIND (Sale of Goods Act 1979). Subject to this and any other Act, a Contract of Sale may be be made in writing or by word of mouth or partly in writing and partly by word of mouth or may be implied from the conduct of the parties.
  2. Goods ordered that are not availble from stock normally take between 18 -24 weeks for delivery, an exact delivery date is not given by the designer and the bridal studio simply passes on this estimate.
  3. Gowns requiring extra length or special measures are subject to a surcharge carried forward to the customer, which is not always known until the gown arrives in stock. The charge will then be added to the cost of the goods above.
  4. On ordering, a minimum deposit of 50% is required on all good. No alterations can be carried out until the garments are paid in full.
  5. Exact colours and shades on fabrics and designs on trim, including lace, cannot always be guaranteed.
  6. Accessories purchased elsewhere can only be used during fitting of gowns etc. at the client's own risk.
  7. Due to Copyright Law, photography is not allowed in the studio.
  8. The gown is ordered in accordance with designers' size charts and the sizes measured and agreed at the time of order. Although ordered to designer sizing, some fitting is to be expected. The bridal studio accept no responsibility for gowns not fitting on arrival due to clients increase or decrease in weight or any other reason beyond our control.
  9. All dresses without exception will require some fitting, the bridal studio refers clients to a seamstress who is independent, however clients may use whom they wish for alterations. Clients should satisfy themselves as to any insurances their chosen seamstress holds.
  10. In the event of a wedding being cancelled for any reason whatsoever, the balance remains payable on arrival of the goods and must be paid and the goods collected within two weeks.
  11. 10 Banking days are required to allow cheques to clear before any goods will be released to the buyer except where balance paid by cheque is guaranteed by a valid banker's cheque guarantee card.
  12. The bridal studio operates a no-returns and no-refund policy.
  13. Nothing in the above affects your statutory rights.
